We begin with 100% non-GMO winter wheat, which is ground and fermented with our special ingredient. This fermented mixture is then filtered and distilled into a raw wheat distillate, and then re-distilled in our small-batch, manually operated, Arnold Holstein copper still. Our still has been custom-made to our specifications to impart an exclusive character to Our/New York Vodka. Our Head Distiller works tirelessly during the 8-hour distillation, monitoring the process every 20 minutes to ensure quality every step of the way.

The next step is to isolate our desired flavors, discarding the undesirable heads and tails, and keeping what we call the complex and flavorful “heart”. The result is our winter wheat distillate and the magic of Our/New York - it is what imbues our vodka with its signature floral and citrus notes. Our winter wheat distillate is rich with romantic compounds (terpenes) that naturally occur in a variety of plants and botanicals and account for their characteristic scent.

Once we have the winter wheat distillate, we mix it with our column distilled rectified spirit made from corn, which adds another level of smoothness and drinkability, and our locally sourced, triple-filtered New York water from the Catskills. The product is an exquisitely premium, world-class vodka.
